How Many Goals Can Mohamed Salah Score?

Mohamed Salah looks to lead his country into the Round of 16, and beyond, at this summers World Cup. After becoming the Premier Leagues All Time Single Season Record Goal Scorer, with 32 in 38 games and a Golden Boot on top of that, Salah looks set the group stages on fire.

Oh, here is the record breaker.

Egypt kick off their tournament with a match against Uruguay, on Friday at 5:00 am Pacific Time, and Uruguay could be first victim to a goal from Mo. Based on the pace in Uruguay's defense and counter that with speed and freedom of Salah, good for at least 1.

Next Match for the Egyptian King would be Russia on the 19th at 11:00 am Pacific Time. Russia, usually playing a back three, will mean Salah will be man marked by a Center Back. The sheer pace of Salah will attract multiple defenders and pull Russia into space. Salah with an assist in this match, would not surprise me. I am more looking for a Brace from Salah, shooting that goal tally to 3 in 2 matches. Big expectations, but I know his are BIGGER.

Final Match of group play, sees Egypt play Saudi Arabia, on June 25th at 7:00 am Pacific Time. Given how defensive Saudi Arabia plays, Salah could be in for a tougher day then expected. I maybe see 1 goal from Salah coming from this match, on the counter attack. Brings the group tally to 4 goals.

If Egypt makes it out of the group, and come in second, they could very well have a Match with Spain, whom expecting could make it top of their group. Salah v. Ramos 2, I am all here for it. Salah getting a goal here, on the counter, no doubt. Sadly where I see Egypt's World Cup Dream End. Salah finishing with 5 goals, but I do not see that as enough to take home the Golden Boot.

The thing I am most excited about, is seeing Egypt play in this World Cup, with its STAR player. After the scare for Mohamed Salah in the Champions League Final, when he got injured, Infeared the worst. I wanted to see Salah at the World Cup. Now, we are all gifted with this chance. I know goals will be their for Egypt, and they will be a team to watch. They very well could see themselves creating havoc in the Knockout Rounds. I am all in on it. How could you not be happy for them?
