Aduriz Relegates Barcelona (kinda)

It’s finally here, the First weekend in La Liga. it was wildly entertaining, to say the least. It started with the first match on Friday, Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona. Much hype was made around the debuts for Griezmann and De Jong, but another player snagged the headlines with his 89th minute heroics.

Aritz Aduriz, LA LIGA LEGEND. The near 40 year old has come out and announced it would be his final season, and he’s starting on a phenomenal note. At 40, I hope to be able to look half as good as Aduriz, let alone fly like an eagle. Handing Bilbao their first win against Barcelona in La Liga, since 2013, The impact Aduriz had was instant. According to Squawka Football, Aduriz had 2 touches, 1 shot, 1 aerial Duel won, and 1 goal, in his 3 minutes of match time.
